napoleon dynamite + mario = sure winner
but for some reason it just didn't work. it wasn't really funny. pretty much copied the boring parts out of the movie with a few of the better lines, delivered deadpan and also not funny. sorry, this just wasn't funny.
on the other hand, the drawing was pretty good in my opinion. simple, effective, appropriate to videogame subject matter.
don't joke about the holocaust
Actually, you made joking about the holocaust pretty damned funny. That was the most hilarious thing i've seen on the portal in a really long time. I actually took time out of my voting to write this review, which I don't do too often, that's how funny I thought it was. The drawing was pretty good too. It remided me of Daria a little bit. And the voice acting was totally Dr. Katz/Home Movies type stuff, which is the best. Excellent job. Please make more.

i'm sorry, i don't like writing bad reviews, but i'm none too happy with this remix. i'm big into christian death, and it's cool that somebody thought to remix deathwish, but there could have been much more to it. like for one not totally gotten rid of the original structure of the song, for another putting all the words in as opposed to half a line from the chorus and part of another song turned backwards. the short guitar/synth loop that looped about 65536 times really got on my nerves, the added drum kit was pretty cheap, there wasn't much in the way of structure, and as much as i like rozz's voice, i had trouble sitting through five minutes of this.
again, sorry i've got to come down so hard, but you need to try harder at remixes if you're gonna do them.
p.s., if you do "spiritual cramp," find me for some advice. i'd like to hear a remix of that.
heh well i did this a couple years ago with a budget of exactly $0. I would like to go back and redo the drums but i lost the original tracks. I was thinking of resampling but most of my time is taken up with the band i started and original synth compositions i do from time to time. Actually, this is the first and only remix i ever did, and you're right, it didn't turn out that great, but i had fun doing it and learned alot about editing software. While i like the heaviness of the guitar riffs i failed to realize most of the draw of CD is Rozz's voice, after all. Again, i just don't have the equipment or time to go back and do a whole vocal track and everything. This just happened to be ready to go and i thought somone might want a heavy riff somewhere. You might want to check out the other piece i have here, it's short and sweet.
couple of suggestions
one thing this track is missing is bass! that could fill it in nicely. and why not some organs?vampires and all. now production-wise, the drum loop works good, the guitar could use a touch more low end, the vocals are eq'ed really well, but i think they might need pushed back a little, maybe a little reverb to make them gel with the music better. but definitely a good effort with the writing and producing.
